So long as you’re using a relatively recent memory editor, these codes should be consistent no matter what you use because of how PCSX2 allocates RAM nowadays. Just use a program like Omniconvert to convert the digits to whatever format your device accepts and you should be good to go.

These codes haven’t been tested for use on devices like Action Replay, etc, but given that the PAL code was originally made by whoever (if you’re that someone, give me a shoutout and I’ll credit you!) for use with an Action Replay MAX, it should be okay with other devices for other regions. Raw Codes (for using on real hardware, etc.)

There are multiple ways of doing this, so let’s go over the different methods and then I’ll briefly describe what all this battle debug menu actually does.
#ETERNAL POISON PCSX2 TEXT HOW TO#
Shin Megami Tensei III’s Battle Debug Menu UnlockedĬontinuing off of yesterday’s post in which I detailed how to unlock Shin Megami Tensei II’s debug menu in its PS1 version, I’ve been tinkering around with Nocturne some more and after discovering that there was an Action Replay MAX code for the PAL version circulating around that unlocks an in-battle debug menu, I decided to tool around with other versions of the game and I think it’s pretty safe to say that you can unlock it in pretty much any version you’d like to play in addition to the PAL one, be it the pre-Maniax Japanese version, the US release, or the Japanese only Maniax Chronicles edition featuring Raidou! I’ve taken the liberty of “porting” the code to these other versions as it were so everyone can get in on the action. I don’t think any Okami demos have ever been made publicly available to my knowledge, so that especially is exciting to me, especially since it seems to be more content rich than the one most fans are familiar with! :D! Reposting to the personal blog because this is probably the magazine demo disc I’ve most looked forward to uploading given its lineup. We’re not quite done yet with our stock of magazine demo discs overall, though! Friend of the blog has generously supplied me with several more Famitsu Wave discs to distribute to you all, so look forward to that! Save Data (Yellow block Start+Select to quit): The King of Fighters: Another Day: Episode 4: all over The King of Fighters: Another Day: Episode 3: in the dark Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 2: Itetsuita Kioku-tachi/Raw Danger Playable Demos (Red blocks Start+Select to quit): Magazine Name: Dengeki PlayStation 2 (Dengeki PS2) Exciting stuff for game historians for sure! You can check the list of what all this disc has below.

This disc is the last of our current batch of PS2 demo discs I’ve got on hand until some of the single game Irem ones come in from Japan, but fret not, because this Dengeki PlayStation 2 disc from early 2006 is probably the best of the bunch I’ve dumped yet! Indeed, it’s got three pretty heavy hitters for playable demos by way of Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 2 (Raw Danger overseas), and Okami! The last two are especially significant because they both have single game demo discs as well (two in the case of ZZT2!) that were released prior to this magazine disc, but are demonstrably different from what’s contained on here. Release: Dengeki PlayStation 2 D90 Demo Disc (SLPM-61146) I’d never heard of anyone using that pillar technique against Ocelot until I saw that video! Crazy!

Reblogging because that MGS1 video really is too good in spots. Kojima has techniques for “Transcendental Play” Catch the rest of the content listing below. I’ve uploaded it to YouTube here as usual, but really, the gif up top that karobit also made should be enough to tell you it’s worth a watch.

More importantly, though, this disc continues Demoban’s fine traditions of inadvertently uploading weird, wacky archival Metal Gear Solid video material by way of a featurette in which series creator Hideo Kojima shows off some inventive ways to tackle some of the first game’s trickier areas. Our ongoing demo friend has kindly provided us a few more Famitsu Wave demo discs to spread to the masses, so let’s pick up where we left off on that end with this one for issue 5! In terms of playable games, the only thing super notable is probably R-Type Delta, though I’ll admit to playing around with the demo for restaurant management simulator FamiRes he Youkoso for longer than I should have just out of sheer morbid curiosity. Guest Release: Famitsu Wave 5 Demo Disc (SLPM-80339)
